Grading

The summer grading event where students can register to be assessed to demonstrate their karate skills, techniques and knowledge. Successful students will be presented their new rank in a presentation at the end of the event.

As we near the event, students will need to register to attend this event so we can prepare for the number attending. Please talk to any of the black belt team or Karen Payne at a training session.

Those attending the event for assessment must pay the grading fee in advance.

All graded students must keep an up to date karate license, which must be in place ahead of the event. New licenses, and license renewals, must be paid for ahead of the event.

You can read more about our ranks, grading rules and how grading works in more detail by following the links in the header.
